KHUFU-
King Khufu ruled in the 4th dynasty from the years 2589 BC- 2566 BC. He was the son of King Snefuru, and Queen Hetephres. He had two wives, Marinates and Henusten. He had 6 sons, and 15 daughters. His leadership style was described as cruel and heartless. we was hated by the Egyptians to such an extreme, that after he died, they burnt his possessions. One of his major accomplishments is that he is known for the Pharaoh who built the Pyramid of Giza.His most famous Monument/ buildings is the White Statue,and the Pyramid of Giza. Till today, there is some controversy that the 'White Statue of Khufu' is actually another Pharaoh from the third dynasty. Some unusual traits of King Khufu is that he did not believe in Egyptian gods. He was pushing for the belief on one god. He started banning sacrifices, banished temples, and refused to have priests. In 2566 BC, King Khufu died of old age. He was buried in the Pyramid of Giza.
-Some shocking/interesting info: King Khufu was also known as Cheop. He was also famously known as the Pharaoh who made his daughter a slave to earn more money for the palace.
